 Nancy King is an internationally recognized authority on regulatory and salon practice standards. She is current director of AEFM™ and Executive Director of the non-profit organization, the Foundation for Safety in Cosmetology. Other affiliations:

A licensed, independent educator and instructor in proper cleaning and disinfecting practices, Nancy trains states’ boards of cosmetology and state inspectors. In 2001 and 2002, she was technical advisor to the producers of ABC’s 20/20 nail stories on MMA and the Watsonville, CA infection outbreak from unsanitary pedicures. She has written articles for Nailpro, Dayspa and Nails magazines.
